Learn To Kayak
This is an introductory course focusing on basic stroke techniques and water safety. Participants will each paddle their own sit on top kayak, while learning techniques to help them be efficient in the boat. Several fun drills and games (such as relays) are incorporated to help individuals work on their stroke.
This course is four hours in length which includes a 1/2hr lunch break.
This program is held at Kirk Lake and, as all of our programs, is taught by certified NCCP instructors.

Racing Program
This program is for the adult who likes a structured training group. The group trains twice a week together with options of training three times of week with the younger groups. There are a few regattas that athletes can attend if they desire. A NCCP certified coach designs and implements the training program for the athletes.
Cost: $300.00

Recreational Program
Members can paddle during their designated recreational times. If members would like a specific time for the club to be open we can arrange that. All members must take a course or show the head coach their ability in the boat before they are able to be off on their own.

Adventure Racing Stroke Technique
This is a three hour course focusing on stroke technique for those adventure racers. If athletes are interested in taking this course then please contact the club and it can be arranged.
