We offer canoe and Kayak introduction programs to elementary school, high school and home school groups. We offer full day, half day and even two-hour programs. If you are interested in coming out for an outdoor education or physical education class, we are closely situated just outside of St. Albert. Please contact our coaching staff to discuss your program.
Coaching staff
The coaching staff are all NCCP qualified. The head coach, Joanne Devlin Morrison is currently finishing her level 4 in sprint Canoe/ kayak. All staff is certified in First Aid and CPR. Jessi Temple is NCCP certified level 1.
Location
We paddle out of Kirk Lake, which is situated off the Yellowhead on 184St. and 122Ave.
Equipment
It is recommended that students wear suitable clothing and bring a change of clothes with them. We also suggest students bring their own towel and water bottle. The canoe club provides all other equipment. If individuals wish to wear their own PFD then that is encouraged.
Cost
The cost is $142.00 for 1-20 participants. For groups of over 20, we charge $5.00 per extra participant.
